John 3:16

My mother gave this book to me,
So very dear to my heart.
I read it most every day
Though now we are far apart

It was written years ago,
She made it very clear,
That truth,the power are the words of God,
His words you'll have to hear.

Make sure your behavior will please our dear Saviour,
All thru your life from your birth.
For we know that His eyes are,up there where the skys are
And he's watching us down here on earth.

Though the ol' devil shoves us,
The good Lord still loves us,
His spirit is there in between.
Salvation, we need it,lets all read it,
