I’d Love To

I'd love to travel to the stars,
or explore the world's oceans.
And leave Earth to visit Mars,
overcome by my emotions.

I'd love to fly through the sky,
or paint rainbows droplets spun.
And go ballooning up high,
floating free under the sun.

I'd love to dance on desert sands,
or meet beings not of this world.
And visit exotic lands,
in ships with sails unfurled.

I'd love to circle the earth,
or rewind time to my youth.
And celebrate nature's rebirth,
separating myth from truth.

I'd love to share true love,
or turn the world into friends.
And believe that God's above,
fueling hope as life ends.

Many of my poems reflect the uniqueness and special circumstances of my upbringing. more…
