Its one A.M. and I can't sleep.

It's one AM, I'm laying here, and I can not sleep.
I'm so tired, but sometimes the pain runs deep.
I pray to God that my soul, he will forever keep.
How long can one survive before falling in a heap?

I hope that sleep will find me soon, and positive thoughts will into me seep.
For I know how important it is to sleep, and all the benefits that you'll reap.
They say to try to lay down and just relax, to try to keep counting the sheep.
I stare and darkness I find, I should get out of bed,and take a ride in my jeep.
I find it so frustrating at times, that i just want to curl into a ball & just weep.
