it's not about...

looking into the eyes of the many,
so many different stories to be told,
life lived through each breath,
each one of us a precious gift to the other,
to live as sister and brother...

reading in between the lines of life,
seeing what isnt heard,
believing nothing i hear; half of what i see,
each heart with its own view,
no one walking in the same shoe.
yet, seeking the same path,
away from God's unbearable wrath...

grains of sand; we are the same,
too many to count,
stepped on by others,
lining the ocean shore,
looking upon a full moon horizon,
believing, is knowing Jesus is the Son...

a forest we are,
standing under the north star.
moved by a breeze passing to the south,
hearts broken when spoken from the mouth.
rooted into the dirt of the earth,
reaching out to one another,
shading the ground below,
the pine pointing the way we should go...

so many metaphors to be used,
different only is how each one of us is abused.
stricken down one way or another in life,
none living the exact same strife.
even when everything is good,
evil preys within the minds neighborhood.
always trying to break down a thought,
easy it is when ones past is whats caught...

the more unselfish a heart is,
the more it gives.
forge EVERYONE of the yesterdays past,
whether they did you wrong or not,
evil doesnt need to last.
think of others more,
worry not behind your closed door.
everyone has a secret,
better understood is the heart sent...
