It's not about you

These poems I write to you may make no sense
They are written either in the past or present tense
It invigorates my mind when read. Enjoy the comments when controversy is spread
It heals the void cleanses my sole it makes perfect personal sense
Each word giving birth to a sentence born to escape
Painting my world with colors as if there were no mistakes
It is as vivid as dying leaves raked when bagged
On sunny day clouds gather as in my imagination they are dragged
Rhyming words with love so perfect only in my dreams could they brag
It is confusion a melange lost in the haze of ecstasy my dear
It is not about you it's about me
It is a bit of fantasy that makes up my reality.

Life events my heart regurgitates upon it feeds
Collection of memories projected on giant screen
Without editing direction it unwinds
But nobody minds
It is not about you it's all about me
It is a collection of abstract collage of my life
Things forgotten stored only to surface
A reminder in time I must face only for an instance
Ushered memories of loves lost , how they drop out in time
They whisper in my dreams and ask whether I remember what it was like?

It is not about you
It is about me
My words explode as they pore out like a sap from a tree
This is not poetry of the usual kind
It is a cleansing of a rational mind
So please don't take it personal

These poems I write are not inclusive
So why be blue?
It's not about you
There is no rhyme to reason what is really true?
These characters and events are not meant to be you
It is merely an exercise of a story teller's tale told
Tales lived witnessed experienced feeling bold

It is displayed here without exploitation no trophies or prize
In a gallery so bizarre invitation to be read if so designed
Here on this canvas my life is stretched and crucified
Chose to be judged for what I believe
To confess to what is fiction what are lies is no relief
As the the writer I take the fifth. What is the truth what is to be to denied
It is your interpretation as the reader what is real and what is sublime

Palace Keeper

Hungarian Born. As a child lived through the revolution and fortunate to find freedom in the West.Educated in Montreal Canada . Sir Georges Williams University.Moved to Florida and became an American Citizen.Enjoy all kind of sports. Try to stay healthy and in good shape.I love women who are smart and can take care of themselves.Somewhat a loner . Don't like parties or crowds. Like big cities to visit but not to live in. I should of been a farmer for I like hard work and enjoy building with my hands. Love all sorts of animals for they are honest. They either like you or hate you. I guess that is the way I am with people.Hot or cold. Not luke warm. I never stay in company of people that bore me. I guess I am weird that way. I took up writing as my dad was dying with cancer.I find it as a good release. Not really happy about commenting about other peoples poems. I enjoy reading them and always wonder what made them start writing. I don't want to be judgmental or the reason for why they stopped. We all could use each others encouragement.Thank you for visiting with me. more…
