It's been minutes
It's been minutes since I left her arms,
it's been minutes since I realized happiness
was real.
It's been minutes since I finally felt at home
and was chill
It's been minutes since I've so alive...
Alas! It's been minutes since I've seen her,
since I've smelled the strong perfume
now it almost seems like a blur
it's been minutes
but to me it has felt like years.
