Isle Of Skye

In the misty august summer heat
Skye bound sea birds sing so sweet
'Inner Sound', yes, 'Sound of Sleat'
Surging surf winds rhythmic beat

Falling water froth and foam
Sordid scar fell sea bed home
Tortured landslide moss and heather laid
And mountain peaks where dreams are made

'Black Hill Mountain', 'In Pin', 'Storr'
Swooping sweeping cartwheels galore
From the 'Isle of Cloud' loch and glen
'Kilt Rock' music sings again
