cause i dont want to be alone walking around with this pain
when you said this is goodbye
i cried as i let you walk out my life
but i knew i could do better
but i always thought this would be forever
but once again i was the fool
trying to love someone i knew was no good
i thought i could change you
but you ended up changing my views
i thought i could hold on
but forever is too long
i couldnt force myself anymore
i always had one foot out the door
didnt even know what i kept comming back for
but now you agree
that its best if you leave
so i dont have to hide
the fact that i took a walk on the darker side
i knew it was hard to love me but you did your best
thats the only kind words for you i have left
cause you knew the whole time
