Is Poetry Dead?

A fool believes poetry is dead, yet there was no funeral.

While the strong now write it the wise still listen.

Though deaf upon the ears of a world at war.

Can it be felt by the ones who take the lives?

Not those with the guns, but those who command them.

For poetry is not dead it is them that is dead inside.
