Is it Love?

Is it love or infatuation?
Does he care or am I blind?
Does the melody that is playing
Clash or blend in sweetest song?

Will I ever know the answer?
Or will the answer from me depart?
Oh, why must such troubles
Come from matters of the heart?

A simple smile sends hearts racing,
A glance sets the spirit free,
But can I tell if this is love?
Or is it simple attraction only?

Are we both learn'd souls,
Finding solace in our ostracation,
Or is there more to find?
Kinship, or attraction?
