Is it left or is it right
 Both of them just seem so right
Both of them I feel drawn to
Both I know that I can do

It's so hard for me to choose
I am so afraid to lose
For each action has a price
So I'm trying to be wise

What compounds the issue more
Are the ones that I adore
Telling me I can't do either
And should stop and take a breather

How can I explain to them
The kind of person that I am
When in truth with all I know
There is nothing I can show

What I sense, what I perceive
Isn't what most people see
No amount of explanation
Can relieve this situation

So I sit and mediate
Knowing that for now I wait
Asking only that the light
Show me if it's left or right.
