Intruder Alert!

Semi autonomous ball of rainbow
colored yarn, floating, jelly fish
legs, across the floor, beeping
and booping commentary, switching
and flitching down the hallway,
blinking rainbow lights in a chorus,
the cats going insane trying to kill
it, ball of rainbow yarn
shook its fingers, no no no!
and took off, down into the basement,
the cats freaked out,
pouncing, ninja jumps,
attack! a claw caught a leg,
the yarn fled, kitten hanging
on by a claw as they zipped
and zagged all over the house,
the ball beep-bopping curses,
the cat howling in glee and terror,
someone opened a door and
they slammed into it, WUMPH!
beeee-oooo! meow! thump!
the other cats groaned, paws
slapping feline foreheads, they
picked the kitten up, gave
the ball of yarn rainbow beatings,
and had a nap.
