Inquiry

Why so many questions?
Where have all the answers gone?
I've noticed there are more problems every day,
But have the solutions all run away?

Why have you imposed all of these on me?
Why do these things exist?
Do they only leave people empty,
Or are they meant to lead to something that is whole?
Why all these interrogations?
Why all these unclear assumptions?
Why all these questions If no one has the answers?

Why have you grown quiet?
Have you nothing more to ask?
Why do I return your questions with questions?
Is it because I have no answers?
Well, I'm answering with questions
So that can't be it, right?
Is it not logical?
Could it be that we answer ourselves everyday
But have yet to notice the answers to a question
Are in the question?
Why must we eat?
Is it because we're hungry?
Why must we breathe?
Is it because we must live?
Why must we sleep?
Is it because we need rest?
Why must we speak?
Is it because we need to ask ourselves
A million questions everyday?
Of course.

I get my inspiration randomly. There are literally one million things, if not more, that can create a spark in the back of my mind. When this happens I can write pretty much about anything, happy or sad. more…
