Incoherent Thoughts Through The Night
Let matters both grey and white yearn for Sleep
though her soothing touch lies too far away,
let the silence outside grow absolute
while this longing keeps all those dreams at bay…
When the night is as dark as a blindfold,
and the soft wind gently flows from the south,
a bright moon with her charming silver smile
emerges above the dark, heavy clouds…
Soon the hungry birds shall leave their humble nests
as both the desires begin to fade,
from the bliss and agony of hours, long
in the throes of solitude. All around
sacred prayer-calls, steeped in divine melody
resonate across the dull urban sky…
