In the wilderness of the world

It is a haunting melody or a real being?
That walks with me where ever I move
Or it a departed soul of a bird
In search of its lost home
Demolished by some inhumane being
Who chopped the tree where it perched
After the whole day's activity
Of searching food for its siblings
Now lost alive or have become victim
To some serpent from the surroundings
It does never reveal the truth
But it will continue begging everywhere
It flies and wanders on land
With its sweet tweeting song
Full of pain and wilderness
Touching the heart of the people
Walking on the track around
The golf course away from the town
I continued my routine till the mystery
Revealed and feeling the presence of the voice
My eyes beheld and ears heard
A live performance, deep and sweet
At times the song died in tears
And it came out on the corner
A nightingale, pale and sad
Singing its solo symphony
With eyes shut and neck dropped
As if asking help to search its siblings
Or someone to console its grief
In the wilderness of the world
