In the End

I'd drink the flood of misgivings
Imbibe on your wondrous doubt
Take the heavens by storm
To find another way out
Rival the clouds for their violence
Tasting the rain on my tongue
Dreaming of the incarceration
That follows the self-loathing young
Bending a line like a river
To breathe the shores of your fame
Fleeing the shallows to find out
Where you've hidden my pain
Drowning immaculate transgression
Counting my sins as the waves
Forever the always continue
To hollow me out like the grave
Undone, I've learned revelation
Stands on the footfall of vice
So I suffer the arrows of violence
In the end I'll learn to be wise.
