In Cinnamon Skin

Gold-green eyes,
So alive,
Wrapped warm
So deep inside
Your cinnamon skin;
Filled to the brim
With bewilderment-
That's all I see,
All that you can be,
Calling out it seems,
Across time, space
And dreams.
In each eye
Lies something divine,
That years unseen
Leave behind
Not one detail erased.
