In A State Of Oppression

Show me the blood, boiled in the heart
Lit aflame by flints without armor
Whose songs echo down the centuries
Billowing as clouds over mountains
Linking the chains-
The kinships in souls
Crucified at the thought of breathing
The inferno rekindles with a torrent of words
Breaking silence like a tear does the eye
As the voice from within-
Burns with the time
And the greed of the past plays like torture
The splash like a spring
Wreaking the heart
Full of the wrath of titans
But guarding the tongue
Does no good to the mind
That lives in a state of oppression
