Ilogical Truth

I wanted and I wanted
the love of my life.
I searched and searched
for the love of my life.
I hurt and hurt looking
for the love of my life.

And then, a miracle! I found
the love of my life.
And my love was returned by
the love of my life.
And I was on cloud nine
with the love of my life.

But what happened
with the love of my life?
The wanting
the love of my life
was better than the getting of
the love of my life.

Love is not logical,
but it is real.
Life is not logical,
but it is true.
Truth is not logical,
but it can be true.

Note:  This is the same poem as "The Wanting" but under a different title.  I do not like my original title.
