If...

If I told you that you were special
If I told you that it was for you I care,
If I told you to keep me your secret
Would you say it wasn't at all fair?
If I told you that you meant everything
If I told you my love for you is real,
If I asked you to come away with me
Would you in that perfect moment steal?
If I told you my nights without you were lonely
That the day misses your beauty as much as me,
If I told you my heart is slowly becoming weaker
Because unlike everyone, it is you I do not see.
If I told you who I was in this mad, mad world
Would you confess all and allow my graceful fall?
Or would you turn to me with that warming smile
And make me a soulful promise that you'll call?
