If you looked at me like that.

if you looked at me like that.
i would be the luckiest man on earth.
heaven would open up and show me my rebirth.
love is for the emptiness that fills my heart.
if you looked at me at like that i'd never part.

the hours in the day just seem to slip away.
sailing with this empty cargo that just leaves me at bay.
all tied up and turned about, no mate to keep me straight.
i pray and i try not to shout, and hope its not to late.

everytime i see you, i see love, but then i get lost in the crowd of push and shove.
i give into the fear and dissapear.
what i want to say, i don't think you want to hear.

i look for hope in a house of despair.
i reach for you,, but you're just not there.
i'm amazed at how time just keeps on going.
as i sit here all alone with no one knowing.
