If I Treated You Like Poetry

If I treated you like poetry,
I would watch my every word
And tell you of my untold stories
That no one else has ever heard.

If I treated you like poetry,
Not a single emotion would I hide
And I would take you with me
Everywhere and tell everyone with pride.

If I treated you like poetry,
I would just let everything flow
and share with you all I possess
And all that I have come to know.

If I treated you like poetry,
Each moment would last forever
And maybe now, in looking back,
Maybe that's why we aren't together.

Michelle Borel

Proud to be from the beautiful twin isle of Trinidad and Tobago... One of my very first pieces was published when I was eight in one of Trinidad's daily newspapers. I believe that we must not bury our talents, but work on enhancing them. I started hosting shows at age eleven and by seventeen, I became a radio personality. Feel free to enjoy evenings with me from six to nine at www.1077musicforlife.com Together with that, I love the kitchen and my company Cookie Castle allows me to share the warmth and love I put into baking with others. Also, marketing seems to be another talent as I have held a regional position with an international brand regarding such a portfolio. However, I have saved the most important for the end of this bio - MY FAMILY :) I have three kids and I have been married now for nine years... Though on air I am known as Michelle Borel (maiden name), I take great pride in being Mrs. Thorpe! Peace and love to you and yours... Remember to put God first... Praise JAH and live!!! Would love to read my pieces live for you... You may contact me at 1(868)372-3877 or e-mail me at michelle_borel@hotmail.com more…
