I'm Gone
They try to knock down; they wanna see me fall
Put me six feet in the ground and hear that curtain call
But the veil’s been ripped, so go ‘head pass that ethanol
Imma raise a glass to the return and spit this fire, dawg
Back from the dead, boy like my name was lazarus
Ten toes deep, blood pumpin’ - time to shake the dust
Know you heard the headlines, I think you should be well advised
Not to plan my funeral after the body dies...
I ain’t goin’ nowhere - Nope! I’m staying right here
I walk through the valley of shadows because I have no fear
Death couldn’t hold Him and neither will it hold me
Death already took an L, it’s about to be a repeat
Go ahead and nail the coffin often as you like
Imma fight the good fight, run hard through night,
and do it with all my might
I’ll take the trials and tribulation, eat ‘em like a piece of cake
Rage against the dying of the light and pull a great escape
“Rest in peace, c’est la vie” - oops! There’s been a mix-up
Get Steve Harvey on the phone, ‘cause you’re mistaken, bruh…
Results are in - Death can never win - Invictus
You can body me a thousand times, I’m still gon’ get up
Fresh to death, blood dipped - never dressed in nothing less
Y’all casket sharp in the dark - blind men tryin’ to impress
YOLO all you want, but I promise ain’t seen nothin’ yet
When you see the Lion comin’, faces fall full of dread
Conquering and to conquer, All praise and all honor
Snatch your crown, lay it down; All your notions torn asunder
Who He is and Who you thought you were got ya mind blown
Who He is and what he’s about to do, you shoulda been known
The end is the beginning; Life is only gettin’ started
Some into eternal rest, the rest to be duly departed
Seek him while he may be found or you'll be found out
Outta time, outta luck, outta options - no doubt…
GONE.
