I packed my bags, and
Said farwell to my world -
To love, honor and obey
The one to whom I was sold.

But who sold me?
Did I sell myself?
It's a train, a plane,
A puppet. No, an elf.

Man's little helper.
that's what I am!
SO, is this
God's master plan?

Go ahead! Pull a string
And I come to life.
Presto change-o. Ta-da!
A wife!

I wave my wand
And you've got a clean home,
Three kids, super
And a throne.

the fairy that changed Pinocchio,
Sprinkled some dust on me.
Now! I can feel, hear, talk,
Think, touch and see!

I can feel my tears,
I can hear your lies.
When I talk,
I see you look surprised.

I can feel your touch. -
It drains me. I am empty.
I wonder how it feels
To be loved - by me.

Proud to be from the beautiful twin isle of Trinidad and Tobago... One of my very first pieces was published when I was eight in one of Trinidad's daily newspapers. I believe that we must not bury our talents, but work on enhancing them. I started hosting shows at age eleven and by seventeen, I became a radio personality. Also, marketing seems to be another talent as I have held a regional position with an international brand regarding such a portfolio.
