I Wish
I wish I was the wind
So I could go away from here.
I would visit the world.
And I wouldnt care if anybody hated me,
Because on those hot days when ya really beg for a breeze
I wouldnt even bother visiting them.
I'd blow a breeze throughout a dark night
Where romance and love are sprinkled around.
I'd blow the waves
And tickle the sand.
I'd blow through New York
and steal a hat just for fun.
I'd whirl around the leaves on an Autumn day.
I'd blow out fires and tsunamis away.
I'd encircle the homeless
With a summer breeze in Winter.
I'd blow snowflakes this way and that.
I'd make the snow dance into a heart
Made just for you.
I'd dance to my own song I create through wind chimes.
I'd carry the seasons
To and fro.
I'd swirl in a storm
And dance through rainbows.
But, alas, I can only wish.
