I want to get to know you. I want to taste your tears.
Are the flavors different for glad and sorry years?
I want to get to know you. I want to hold your hand.
Is there a subtle cadence walking on the sand?
I want to get to know you. I want to feel your heart.
Are the beats in rhythm together and apart?
I want to get to know you. I want to read your mind.
Can we both anticipate what the other will find?
I want to get to know you. I want to see your dreams.
Is there a common purpose that works our private schemes?
I want to get to know you. I want to hear your song.
Do the words and melody consistently belong?
I want to get to know you. I want to touch your core.
Will the flight-plans we have filed allow us both to soar?
I want to get to know you. I want to sense your soul.
Metaphysically speaking can we reach our goal?
