I Walk the Line

I have reached the pinnacle
Of abandonment-
There I lorded over Fear
As a heathen god does culpability
Then, as now the oracle lives
Like a vista ever revealing deeper scenery
In the revelations
Horizons broaden
The way night holds creation
All encompassing
I walk the line;bridgeless-
Homeless then, I know anxiety
The kind every veteran knows
The kind every parentless child binds
Like the veins
Passing the nutrients of bereavement
          Now the argument:
To stay one step closer I bar,
The pathways of illumination
Keeping these heights of
Such depths, my own
Here, I am-alone
And this alones
This Oneness
Is the pinnacle of Loneliness
Fear is terrible thing
Far worse
Than reality can ever be.
