I Turn

On occasion I can't explain the way I make myself feel.
I turn, my insides twist, I clench my fists, and my only wish is that this….
This whatever will wait, for another time or a place.
This whatever is something I hate.
Always waiting, standing in my shadow, wanting, control taking, chaos making.
She says it's something deep, something I keep in a heap in my head for too long.
Sing a song, smoke a bong, take a walk, something to make it go away, drive it deeper.
Myself may never know a place to place this heap in my head that I've kept for too long.
Whatever this something I hate is.
