I Thought

I thought we were best friends
Ride or die homies till the end
But ever since that night things haven't been the way they've always been
You didn't come by my house for our evening movie
You didn't invite me out for smoothies
Things like that make me think of the night
I can't forget what happened no matter how much me and my mind fight
We were sitting at the table, you looked radiant in that light
You saw that I hadn't aten any of my food and asked was I alright
That made me want to come right out with it, I had to go and say
That I totally felt for you in a that's different from this way
My words didn't make sense and you seemed uncomfortable
The more I talked the less I seemed capable
Capable of just coming out and yelling "I LOVE YOU"
In my mind I visioned you kissing me and saying you loved me to
Sad truth was you didn't have the feelings I had
In that time I couldn't recall a time I felt so bad
I threw my drink on you and ran out mad
Got my own way home and cried all over dad
I thought. you caught, the love bug too
I thought that for sure we'd be boo's
My thoughts told me you'd purse a relationship
But something deep donw inside said "Don't say for this may ruin your friendship"
So let me say I'm sorry, mostly for ruining 10years
But you know that'll I always love you dear.
