I Looked Into My Father's Eyes

I looked into my father's eyes and saw my own reflection.
I removed my old disguise and found my own direction.

I looked into my mother's eyes and saw my own perception.
I removed my old disguise and found my own inception.

I looked into my brother's eyes and saw my own infraction.
I removed my old disguise and found my own attraction.

I looked into my sister's eyes and saw my own negation.
I removed my old disguise and found my own duration.

Ilooked into my lover's eyes and saw my own affection.
I removed my old disguise and found my own perfection.

I looked into my mentor's eyes and saw my own obstruction.
I removed my old disguise and found my own instruction.

I looked into my neighbor's eyes and saw my own intention.
I removed my old disguise and found my own contention.

I looked into my savior's eyes and saw my own temptation.
I removed my old disguise and found my own salvation.
