I Held My Breath

One day, the view was so wonderous... I held my breath.
The sun was big and looked so round.
I thought I could see where sky touched ground just a little
better that day... I sighed and my breath
caught in my chest...
no man could do this... it was what God did best.
He must have been having a good day Himself
and didn't want to wait... not put it on a shelf.
God let the world know that He was near,
by putting it out there to be seen...
a sky that was clear.
That day... I held my breath
'til a cloud could be seen.
