I Felt Better There, Then Here.....

I Felt Better There, Then Here.....The quiet, the solitude, the cornfields, and the moon.
I heard no yelling, no fighting, no he said, she said, putting me in the middle of it all.
Only the breeze in the cornfields, as the wind brussled through, and the shinning, shimmery moon, as it lit my night sky, and I felt better there than here.

First I looked at the cornfield, as visions of Children of the Corn danced in my head. Isac, Jacob, Malachi, where of my minds selection. Thinking only bad things, I decided to find an opening, and I walked 2 rows back, and sat down, and I felt better there than here.

A calmness came over me, as the cornfield started to dance, swaying left and right, with the winds every gust. As I sat, and peered through the rows, looking up at the moon. I felt better there then here....

How obsard to feel better in a cornfield, than a home, in which I resided, yet I'd only be there for a month, after the 3rd day, I felt a prison would have been nicer. Living amongst my ex/bestfriend, his girlfriend, and their friends, I maid my own prison, in my room, and as I lay sleeping, I felt better there than here.......
