i don't need friends

who can i call a friend?,
that for me will always stand,
who can i real seek?,
upon life and adversity.

which person can i trust?
among you i posses in my heart,
what else do i need to give?,
to get same treat of ma love.

i offer effort and what i can,
i receive no thanks instead more pain,
friend ai'nt something you call for a name,
means a lot and have to be the same.

a friend i can be the best,
i share what i have the most,
but friends i don't need,
they are ungrateful indeed.
