I Don't Hate You

The stress, the hurt, the pain,
It's all the same,
The fibs, the stories, the lies,
Stay buried in my mind,
The jealousy, the cold shoulders, the hate,
It took me twenty two years to figure out I was bait.
Why do you hate me?
No answer? Then let me breathe.
Did I do you wrong?
No answer? Then leave me alone.
Did my hard work offend you?
No answer? Well I can think of a few.
My light skin, my hazel eyes; need I say more,
The fact that I didn't have to show off my body to
get a boy,
My good grades, my good hair; why do you care,
The boy you liked, liked me; you know life isn't fair.
I guess now you really hate me,
Now I will never get to breathe,
I guess telling the truth means I did you wrong,
Now you will never leave me alone,
I figured you out which means I really offended you,
But for the record I still don't hate you for all you
put me through.
