i dare you

over a billion people in the world
you put your focus on a few
how can you find the nerve
to go online and post the words you do
nothing positive and you have nothing to gain
just sit behind a computer with a mask and hide your face
i dare you to walk in my shoes
i dare you to change my point of view
i dare you to live like me
i dare you afterwards not to feel sympathy
can you take off your mask and walk the streets of time square
even though its crowded and no one you know is there
can you read all the bad things people post about you
and still not drop a tear or two
could you be the next president
and make good on all your promises
could you stand up for a stranger
even though your in danger
can you face the world as you are
or are you just a coward trying to be a star
fame is what alot of us want but cant handle it
cause once you make it people like you talk s**t
could you ever be kind to just a few
or are you so insecure you want the world to hurt like you
