I am alone

There was hardly anything new
When you saw me and turned away.
It was obvious you didn't want to see me
Let alone understanding my feelings.
You wanted someone who'd cater to your need
But it was more of your greed than anything else.
How could I afford someone beyond my reach
So today I find myself alone on this beach.
