Humanity's Truth

Creativity's humble bow flutters
in the performance of subservience,
with a kiss of poetry I define
my function, natural ability,
given with a blessing from the supreme
being; the universal wise artist.

Individual thoughts combine themselves
to become something larger than their parts,
smaller though before God's prolific strokes,
I free the nature of my existence
and colour dreams with possibility,
hues as wild as a flower's perfumed nod.

Inferiority smiles with gentle
understanding while wonder whips wishes
into peaceful intellectual sighs,
alliteration winks at simple life
then dances across the tongue's pleasant taste,
imagination's sweet texture twirls love.

Elements brush messages of design,
penned by a poet's sensitivity,
or swirled on to a canvas with cool grace,
perhaps even chipped in stone by soft hands,
different manners to communicate
slip to the mind's eye, humanity's truth.
