How Can You?
How can you create what you can't see?
Let the mind wander and be free,
Amazing what's produced from outer space,
The internal computer it starts to race.
Yes we humans have the ability to think,
Incredible the factors we consume and drink,
As with wine we swallow and taste,
Words and memories we never waste.
Time builds stories it also brings joy,
Pleasant and sweet for girl or boy,
Then when adults we savour what's done,
Varied and interesting are the victories won.
What seems insignificant has merit and worth,
Take an idea since its birth,
Nothing is ignored in this world of ours,
Each can refresh like rainbows and showers.
Take a thought what have you got?
Something of value which means a lot,
Converted into words its yours to hold,
There for posterity more valuable than gold.
About this poem;-
I have no idea as to when these words were formed
but after the first two lines the rest subsequently made
their appearance. In other words almost everything
we think or consider has worth, but how often do we
record and preserve things such as this.
