Hospitality
We were welcomed to the inn,
Remaining somewhat wary,
We didn’t know this quiet place
And knew we shouldn’t hurry!
We walked through glens, along babbling brooks,
And crossed on stones reclined,
We smelled the honeysuckle blossoms
Hanging from the vine.
With that, relaxed and calm,
We then approached the door,
That opened wide and welcomed us,
Tall urns upon the floor.
Tinkling wind chimes pealed,
Tied on sconces room by room,
The fireplace was stacked with logs,
Without impending doom.
