Hope's Song

Oskar

Song of hope,
song of light,
symbol of those eternally bound,
heart, body, soul, mind,
frozen to the ground,
beneath bloody skies of twilight,
the hymn continues,
burdening spirits with hope,
thoughts sear their mark in the dusk,
a scar of resentful hate remains,
but in the end,
verses of hope are a song, and nothing more.
