Homeless but not speechless

I saw you
 You saw me
 I saw you looking
You saw me when I saw you looking at me

I looked right into your eye

But you wouldn't dare hold a stare into mine

 You turned away

 You ignored my faceless existence

You didn't want to see truth

 I knew you were staring

 Taking an interest

Wondering how I came to be

 Worthless
 Pointless
 Useless

 I want/need/desire your pennies

 A slice of your freedom

 To determine your own destiny

Countless are the times when I feel

Powerless
Penniless
You'd stare at me all day if you could

 You are curious about me

You like me because I am nothing you are

I am here to remind you of what life could not be

 You heartless see-me-nots are clueless

 To my faceless existence

 Pain is inevitable

 Suffering is a choice

A world of pain and suffering

 Choiceless

 Worthless nothingness

 I am

Don't shed a tear of hope for me

For my passing will be painless
