Hey Daddy

You held my hand on my first step.
you picked me up when i was down.
i used to know you daddy, but how can i now?
i spent 14 years crying.
look at our relationship dying.
how could you do this to me?
get up one day and decide to leave?
I had nothing but a painting that you had painted for me.
that painting was everything i had to keep the memory.
nowadays, i look at the painting as if it was any old picture.
Why should i call you daddy? when i think stranger is better?
you show up some days out of the blue.
thats when i wonder, "who are you?"
hey im in high school now but you wouldnt care.
its not like you would even know, you were never here.
I used to love you daddy but you wouldnt know,
but all i have left to say, is: Im letting you go.
Giving up on all hope that you would've returned.
how does it feel daddy?
Cause, now its my turn!
