Hero's

Walking beneath these clouds
surrounding us from seeing sun
The light shines beyond the stars
The stars so far
Yet so close to our hearts
Those stars which once captured our wishes
which we all seem to forget
once upon a time
in a dream
of children healing the world
In time
Has it been us stealing the world?
Stealing and killing our imaginations
in a creation to be who we've become
Remember us?
So young in disguise
A cape
A mask
Super man or Wonder woman
wondering when we'll become that super hero
Well
In some ways we still are
To those who serve our country
To those who fight crimes
To those who fight fires
To those who love
and strive for what's good in this world
and although we can't fly
It is your wings
that set us free from adversity...
