Hello, Is Anybody There?

People who live alone,
ya, they own a telephone,
but no one ever calls.

They often talk to themselves, sitting there,
asking why doesn't anybody care.
No one comes at all.

No cards or letters, not a sign,
what happened to those friends of mine.
I'm feel'in mighty small.
