Heard It All Before

It’s all about writin’ the song people hear the first time and say-
“I heard that a long time ago and still know it”.
The spark of life God gave me,
I wonder is it larger than the spark of a kit.

Heard it all before
But the feeling is no less real than when I was just a boy
If is a word best forgotten
So go away if you, you want to be alone

Don’t be so frightened
You won’t be alone for long
The winds of April be blowin’
God’s got a brand new toy

It’s not the first love you hear here
It’s not that kind of love.
