He Came

He came...
To a world that was totally lost,
Never counting the awesome cost.
He came.

He spoke...
And the sick were made well
And the waves ceased their swell.
He spoke.

He died...
On an awful Roman cross,
And the world knew untold loss.
He died.

He arose...
Victorious over death and the grave
With the right and power to save.
He arose.

He comes...
And Heaven's arches then will ring
As He returns to rule as King.
He comes.
