He Awaits

Beware the one with eyes a flat twilight,
Positioned deep and far apart, haloed in night.
Two wicked gems that yearn to trick and tempt
No man or woman will be exempt
As cunning as his counterpart is kind;
Who walks the realms thinning line,
Tears of forgotten dreams do fuel,
The monsters appetite is never full.
Chaos was born of ash from his fire,
The sage of blight, misfortunes churlish sire.
He lingers in the dark fringes of our doubt;
The father of famine, the bringer of drought.
Immersed beneath a sea of masks and names,
That of which we cannot claim to tame.
Fastidious, he crafts the coming end;
When hell and evil do descend.
Awaiting faiths decay with eager lips,
As common and forgotten as an annual eclipse.
He darkens the skies, and summons the end,
A battle pursues, which only God can defend

Poetry is my passion, writing is my calling. I'm always called a wandering soul, or free spirit, but really, I'm trapped. These walls do fall, they crumble until they're so small. I crawl. Light befalls, and darkness shadows its close call. It'll never take me, yearn to wake thee, turn you round to push me towards the black sea.I can't even write a bio without sliping into random rhymes. But, if you like my work, GREAT. If not, bug off!
