Hard days

Crumbling inside as I walk these lonely cobbled streets
The on set of winter wretched as it is,cripples my feet
Howling dogs greet my passing,if to say f*ck you arsehole
My footsteps do not make a sound uninteresting is my sole
Arriving at my abode a quaint little room in bedsit land
Opposite is the sea,the promenade and miles of golden sand
The bed I wish for is coming near a days work has been done
Lets pray tomorrow comes with a new brightly warming sun
