The trees smile and blooming flowers bloom
Hails spring with ecstasy and joy! No gloom

My ancient culture and heritage of India
Witnesses colors of happiness with ease
Through the prism of brotherhood of light
Changing into spectrum of Vibgyor bright

My Nation celebrates color of festival Holi!
An experience of content, harmony and delight.
Forgetting age old jealousy,merry lovely and jolly
By burning Holika amidst mirth. but being polite

A festival to commemorate devotional 'Ras Lila'-
Enduring love saga of Radha and Krishna.s.childhood
Gulal - red, green, yellow and countless. sprinkle
And Pump in watered Rainbow dashing from all sides

With a splash of vibrant frenzy colors. of music
Holi Hai! A spring of unbounded fun and frolic!!
Coming out from the insides of our houses
In the open grounds enjoying the Breeze of Phalgun
Enjoying some Bhaang Dhatura forgetting all senses
But Only laughing all the way to banks
It is the Holi celebration after all. Holi Hai.

I hear all the nice Holi songs and watch dances,
I enjoy Puas,Kheer ,Gihias ,all special Holi treat,

Some play special meaningful Holi with their untouched girls, friend
only day in a year when you can get close without any hesitation,
the wet colors dignified their young erotic bodies,
the dry colors showed their beauty in multi colors.

Challenged by evil, appeased with offerings

Right in the center of crimson blaze sits Holika,
Prahlad in her lap -her arms a circle of heat
White sparks fly from her hair, eyes smolder in fury;
her mouth sucks in air, engulfs rice and wheat

Wood chars, coconuts splinter, flowers sing
Year after year Faith survives. Truth Prevails
Holika burns to death. Holika burns to Death
