Happenstance

Like the glimmering stars
I cannot be sure of who you are
 An angel to heal
To fill me with the feel
 Of the pleasant love
 Filched and spilled above
 The impervious ground
 Of the unreachable mound
Has a cave where I rest
And drill to reach the crest
 To regain what's gone
 She was inequitably drawn
 Away before I explained
The sordid side of their brain
 Grudging those effulgent days
 They glistened the eyes unfazed
In the calm of the breeze
 Kind tender beatific breeze
That is gleaned by this voice
Like the rain of love from the skies
 Filling this forbidding cave
 Excising the gloom to save
 My heart from the anguish
 As I would've indomitably languished
 To no avail
 When my words cannot impale
 Her impregnable disdain
 Was axiomatically inane
But the absence of love impelled me
Now languidly relishing what I see
Is the cupid lending me a chance
Spreading your love as a happenstance
